Tim Tebow’s Eagles jersey sells more than Romo, Lynch and Suh in June

Griffin bested the resurgent Bronco and his brother Eli, whom he*ll face for a second time this season on Monday.

In the realm of more traditional accolades, Griffin was also named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for November.

Tim Tebow might not even be on Philadelphia’s roster when the regular season starts, but that’s not keeping anyone from buying his Eagles jersey.

Tebow’s No. 11 jersey was the 16th best-seller at NFLShop.com for the month of June.

That might not sound like a high ranking, but consider this: Tebow’s jersey beat out both Marshawn Lynch and Tony Romo, who ranked 20th and 24th.

A better comparison though might be Ndamukong Suh, since Suh and Tebow both switched teams this offseason.

Suh might have been the higher-priced free agent, but his Dolphins jersey has nothing on Tebow’s Eagles jersey: Suh’s No. 93 ranked 17th in jersey sales for the month of June.

Forte was asked about this on Friday at Halas Hall.

“There must be a lot of Bears fans in Wisconsin,” Forte said. “Either that or they’re buying it to burn it or something.”
